By Jamie May Photography : The last wedding of the year!! Rena and David!!! As much as I was worried about the snow fall, it ended up bringing a lot of uniqueness to the pictures. Rena was well prepared with the vintage fur. She looked stunning. We started with the getting ready pictures. We then headed to the Porto Bello for the wedding! This is the first time I have been in the Porto Bello for a ceremony in the grand hall. I love that we have these great indoor options in Grand Haven, just in case Michigan gives us a curve ball. Of course, it was a BEAUTIFUL ceremony. I am always so impressed how creative people are and how they come up with so many great ideas. We then hopped in the bus and headed to Rosy Mound and then to the pier. The Grand Haven pier was COLD, but the colors were amazing. The sun popped out for a few minutes while we were there. It was shiny just for us. Rena is one of those totally awesome aunts that pours a ton into her nieces and nephews and she had some special songs just for them: What does the Fox say? Let it Go and Gummy Bear. The kids were going crazy with the fun and so were the adults. Another successful year photographing weddings! I love my job!
